The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Roosevelt (DDG 80) arrived in Taranto, Italy for its first scheduled port visit, Sept. 21, 2025.
USS Roosevelt Sailors had the opportunity to learn and embrace the rich history and culture in southern Italy. The port visit also provides the opportunity for increased interoperability among forces, while building cultural understanding and trust.
