Maj. Jonathan Bless, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) accepts the "Rising Star" Officer of the Year award at the 2026 Public Affairs Forum in Alexandria, VA., May 29, 2026. Bless accepted the award on behalf of Capt. Jennifer French, who could not attend. The forum, hosted by the Army Communications and Outreach Office, recognized winners of the annual Maj. Gen. Keith L. Ware Awards, as well as the 2026 Spc. Hilda I. Clayton Best Combat Camera Competition winners. It also included discussions of the career field by global Public Affairs leaders.
