Pfc. Seu Chan, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne), accepts the Staff Sgt. James P. Hunter award for Outstanding New Military Writer at the 2026 Public Affairs Forum in Alexandria, VA., May 29, 2026. The award is named after Staff Sgt. James P. Hunter who was killed in action in Afghanistan. The forum, hosted by the Army Communications and Outreach Office, recognized winners of the annual Maj. Gen. Keith L. Ware Awards, as well as the 2026 Spc. Hilda I. Clayton Best Combat Camera Competition winners. It also included discussions of the career field by global Public Affairs leaders.
