Dane Schielke, an explosive ordnance disposal officer assigned to EOD, Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, and Airforce Senior Airmen Michael Paradiso, an air transportation apprentice assigned to 1st Special Operations Squadron, 353st Special Operations Wing, review the cargo weight after an ordnance disposal operation at Ie Shima, Japan, May 28, 2026. EOD Marines disposed of numerous pieces of unexploded ordnance, discovered by local farmers, in order to preserve the safety of the local community. Schielke is a native of Florida.
