Dane Schielke, an explosive ordnance disposal officer assigned to EOD, Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, unload cargo pallets after an ordnance disposal operation at Ie Shima, Japan, May 28, 2026. EOD Marines disposed of numerous pieces of unexploded ordnance, discovered by local farmers, in order to preserve the safety of the local community. Rossi is a native of Iowa.
