Firefighters with the 155th Civil Engineer Squadron enter an inactive KC-135 Stratotanker as part of a simulated aircraft fire at the Nebraska National Guard air base in Lincoln, Nebraska, Feb. 6, 2026. Firefighters laddered the left wing of the inactive aircraft to make entry and extinguish any threat of fire as part of a Combat Readiness Inspection.
