Staff Sgt. Kim Simmons, 155th Civil Engineering Squadron, provides instruction to fellow Airmen on the proper procedure for performing a Mission Oriented Protective Posture exchange at the Nebraska National Guard air base in Lincoln, Nebraska, Feb. 7, 2026. Simmons’ guidance provided further clarification on performing partner decontamination techniques to reduce contamination risk in a simulated hazardous environment. The MOPP exchange was conducted as part of a Combat Readiness Inspection, where Airmen were evaluated on their ability to operate and continue the mission in a contested environment.
