72nd Air Base Wing Commander Col. Paul Filcek was the first speaker during Retiree Appreciation Day Nov. 2 at the Tinker Auditorium. Filcek provided updates about gate closures and fielded questions from the retirees about things like their traffic concerns on the installation. The two-part event began at the Base Chapel with information booths from on and off-base agencies. Offices from the 72nd Medical Group were also on hand to give flu shots to retirees, discuss eyecare and dental work. Retirees then listened to several briefings at the Tinker Auditorium, including the Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs and the Tinker JAG Office. (U.S. Air Force photo/Kelly White)
