The 36th Infantry Division conducts a Change of Command Ceremony where Maj. Gen. Charles Aris assumes command from Maj. Gen. Patrick Hamilton. Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Adjutant General of Texas, Maj. Gen. Tracy Norris, along with several other distinguished guests were in attendance at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas.

The Headquarters of the 36th Infantry Division is slated to deploy to the Middle East this fall, and has been rigorously training and preparing for the past two years.
