From February to March of 2024, a team of doctors, nurses, and technicians traveled to four countries across the Caribbean to integrate with local hospitals and clinics and help patients across the region. A majority of the team was made up of Air Force women, who worked in various specialties to deliver assistance to those in need.
Forty-three U.S. Air Force active duty and reserve Airmen traveled to St. Kitts and Nevis in support of this yearâs Lesser Antilles Medical Assistance Team mission. The mission fostered collaboration and training opportunities between Airmen and local medical professionals to achieve positive outcomes through shared goals in benefiting patient care.
