The 119th Wing, N.D. Air National Guard partners with the University of North Dakota and several state and local entities to conduct search and rescue training at Camp Grafton South, near McHenry, N.D. on April 29-30, 2026.
Civil Engineer (CE) airmen learn Rapid Airfield Damage and Recovery at the 119th Wing Regional Training Site. RADR training teaches CE members how to recover a damage airfield at a deployed location. The training provides hands on learning, working with equipment and other airmen to become familiar with each members specific tasks. RADR also gives members a chance to observe other members roles to further the multi-purpose airmen concept.
