    U.S. Army Soldiers assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company start the weighted low crawl portion of the Dark Knight competition held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 7, 2026. The competition started with a physical fitness test that put a level of strain on the contestants right off the bat and only multiplied the fatigue as the day continued. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies.
