FORT RILEY, Kan. — Framed by the open doors of a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter, Army ROTC Cadet Jack Rebsch, a nursing student from the University of Cincinnati, prepares for a familiarization flight at Marshall Army Airfield, July 31. Rebsch, a National Guard cadet in the Simultaneous Membership Program, is completing a four-week clinical rotation at Irwin Army Community Hospital through the Nurse Summer Training Program (NSTP). The flight over the Kansas Flint Hills marked Rebsch's first experience in a Blackhawk, providing the future Army Nurse Corps officer with a firsthand look at operational airborne medical evacuation platforms.
