Mike and Kristy Lagger pose for a photo with their son, 2nd Lt. Lagger branched Field Artillery in the Illinois Army National Guard. Lagger is pursuing a degree in Metereology from NIU. He played a key role in intelligence operations and planning for the NIU ROTC “Huskie” Battalion. The ROTC program commissioned 10 new Army second lieutenants, five of whom are joining the Illinois Army National Guard.
