Chief Master Sgt. John Wesley (Wes) Harms, senior enlisted leader for Space Delta 15, briefs approximately 40 fellows from National Defense University’s Keystone course in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jan. 12, 2026. During his brief, he explained the mission of the National Space Defense Center, saying, “Space Domain Awareness, or SDA, is the integration of space surveillance, space reconnaissance, and intelligence to discern adversary intent and drive action.” The Keystone Course educates senior enlisted leaders serving in or selected for general or flag officer-level joint or service headquarters that may be assigned as a joint task force. USSPACECOM works with senior leaders across the Department of War and our allies to foster a warfighting culture and promote professional growth, which is instrumental to the rapidly advancing capabilities of the Joint Force.
