Chief Master Sgt. Tina Timmerman, command senior enlisted leader at U.S. Space Forces - Space, Vandenberg Space Force Base, California, briefs approximately 40 fellows from National Defense University’s Keystone course in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jan. 12, 2026. During her remarks, Timmerman said, “We are geographically separated yet globally integrated. Even though we have a congested and contested AOR [Area of Responsibility], there is a lot of space for movement as needed for global operations.” The Keystone Course educates senior enlisted leaders serving in or selected for general or flag officer-level joint or service headquarters that may be assigned as a joint task force. USSPACECOM works with senior leaders across the Department of War and our allies to foster a warfighting culture and promote professional growth, which is instrumental to the rapidly advancing capabilities of the Joint Force.
