Brig. Gen. Nathan Rusin, director of the U.S. Space Command Intelligence Directorate, speaks to approximately 40 fellows from National Defense University’s Keystone course in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jan. 12, 2026. Rusin discussed the Intelligence Directorate’s mission, stating, “we monitor and report on potential threats to U.S. interests.” The Keystone Course educates senior enlisted leaders serving in or selected for general or flag officer-level joint or service headquarters that may be assigned as a joint task force. USSPACECOM works with senior leaders across the Department of War and our allies to foster a warfighting culture and promote professional growth, which is instrumental to the rapidly advancing capabilities of the Joint Force.
