Exercise Cobra Gold is a joint multinational military exercise held annually in the Kingdom of Thailand, co-sponsored by the Royal Thai Armed Forces and U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (INDOPACOM). This exercise reflects the United States’ commitment to peace through strength and the enduring partnership between the United States and Thailand.
Joint Exercise Cobra Gold is the largest joint exercise in mainland Asia and a concrete example of the strong alliance between Thailand and the United States and demonstrates the U.S. commitment to the region by advancing improvements in multinational speed of crisis response, mission effectiveness, and combat capability.
