    POLARIS POINT, Guam (June 18, 2018) – Senior Chief Gunner’s Mate Martin A. Edgil, from Aberdeen, Miss., retired from the U.S. Navy, June 15. Edgil last served as Frank Cable’s Weapons Department Leading Chief Petty Officer. As he requested permission to go ashore for the last time, Edgil left behind him a legacy of integrity, dedication, and his own addition to the Navy’s history.

    Sailors Open Sea Scout Eyes

    POLARIS POINT, Guam (April 25, 2018) – The submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40) welcomed 15 Sea Scouts aboard for a ship’s tour, April 25. For most of the boys and girls, ranging in age from 14 to 21, it was their first time on a Navy ship.
