The Royal Spark innovation team at RAF Mildenhall developed the USAF High Aerobic Multi-Shuttle Run Pacer Unit V1, an affordable device that helps Airmen maintain the correct pace during the Air Force fitness test. Unlike the standard test, which relies only on audio cues, the new system combines synchronized lights and official audio to provide clear visual pacing, helping users conserve energy and improve performance.
While many logistics units focus on supporting a single installation, the 426th ABS Logistics Flight supports military organizations operating throughout Norway. The team works with U.S. and Norwegian partners to coordinate transportation, customs clearance and cargo movements for a wide range of missions, including Navy underwater research projects, Marine Corps equipment programs and joint military exercises.
