Crews at Bull Shoals Dam and Hydropower Plant replaced a 170 ton bridge crane inside the powerhouse erection bay between June and August 2026. The project, awarded in November 2023 and scheduled for completion in September 2026, modernizes equipment nearly 80 years old with improved controls and orientation. The new crane prepares the facility for upcoming turbine and generator rehabilitation, ensuring safe and reliable operations for the White River Basin.
