NORFOLK, Va. (May 29, 2026) – Fleet Command Master Chief Jason S. Avin retires at the Macarthur Memorial, after 30-years of dedicated and honorable service to the United States Navy on May 29, 2026. A native of Long Island, New York, Master Chief Avin has served with distinction since enlisting in 1996. For three decades, he has stood the watch, dedicating his life to our nation's defense.
