U.S. Army UH-60L Black Hawk aviators assigned to A Company, 1-168th General Support Aviation Battalion, Alaska Army National Guard, conduct training flight operations over Southcentral Alaska, Sept. 11, 2026.
The training takes aircrews over Alaska’s varied terrain, including mountains, glaciers and waterways, providing opportunities to maintain proficiency while operating in the state’s unique environment. Regular flight training helps Alaska Army National Guard aviators maintain the skills and readiness necessary to support homeland defense and security missions in Alaska.
