    USO center debuts at Creech

    CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- USO Las Vegas held a grand opening ceremony in honor of its newest facility at Creech AFB on Oct. 12, 2017. It’s one of four locations ran by the chapter and is their first debut on an Air Force installation in Nevada.

    CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- After the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, the Las Vegas community was left saddened and distraught, but not broken. Airmen from Nellis and Creech Air Force Base sprang into action to help on the domestic battlefield, doing all they could to help victims, their families and their beloved community.

    Upgraded MQ-9s continue to deploy downrange

    CREEECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- As MQ-1 Predators transition from the Air Force’s active-duty aircraft inventory, they are being replaced downrange by the newly upgraded “Block 5” MQ-9 Reapers. This enables combatant commanders’ uninterrupted persistent attack and reconnaissance capabilities. The recent upgrades include updated software and increased flight range.

    CREECH AIR FORCE, Nev. -- Suffering from shock, disbelief and sometimes the feeling of numbness, individuals impacted by a traumatic experience should receive help from trained professionals 24 to 72 hours after the initial crisis impact. Hours after the Las Vegas tragedy, member of Creech’s Human Performance Team and Nellis Air Force Base trauma teams made themselves available to Airmen and their families.
