Creech Air Force Base welcomes International Air and Space Attachés
CREECH AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.– Creech Air Force Base welcomed 23 international air and space attachés June 12,2026, during an orientation tour to highlight local units and organizations.
During their visit, the attachés received a briefing from Col. Kevin Auger, 432d Wing Deputy
Commander, to introduce the international members on how the three groups, thirteen
squadrons and various tenant units support the mission and make their impact across the
globe.
“Our enduring relationships with allies and partners are a cornerstone to our enhanced
readiness,” said Auger. “Engagements like these help educate our allies and partners on the
unique capabilities and opportunities that our command can provide and strengthen our
connections for future combined operations.”
As official representatives of their own respective governments, these international attaché
tours serve to enhance the understanding of various Air Force operations and structures while
helping strengthen allied engagements.
Later, these visitors had the opportunity to delve into Creech's unique mission set by visiting an
MQ-9 Reaper static display and interact with several maintenance subject matter experts.
The 15th Attack Squadron also gave a briefing showcasing the base’s MQ-9 Simulators, giving
insights into what MQ-9 pilots do daily as well as RPA flying best practices.
