U.S. Army Lt. Col. Joseph Twigg formally transferred command of the Kosovo Force Regional Command-East (KFOR RC-E) Maneuver Battalion to Lt. Col. Gregory O’Brien during a Transfer of Authority ceremony at Camp Novo Selo in Kosovo, June 29, 2025.

Recently, KFOR soldiers from across eight nations- Italy, the United States, Croatia, Germany, Austria, Latvia, Slovenia, and Hungary, walked shoulder to shoulder along two kilometers, holding a cross, leading to the Church of the Assumption in Letnica, Kosovo, also known as the Church of the Black Madonna.
