JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO – FORT SAM HOUSTON - (Sept. 13, 2019) After six weeks of training, Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio welcomed seven new chief petty officers into the Chief’s Mess during a pinning ceremony held at the Fort Sam Houston Theatre.
Promoted were Chief Fire Controlman Jordan Dayberry of Leonard, Texas; Chief Navy Counselor Nathaniel Sehon of Lubbock, Texas; Chief Ship’s Serviceman Christy Naranjo of Memphis; Chief Electronics Technician (Navigation) Jonathan Quist of Biggs, Calif.; Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Joseph Corbeil III of Brownsville, Texas; Chief Aviation Ordnanceman Sefton Semple of Freeport, N.Y., and Chief Navy Counselor Kelliann Ramirez of Atlanta.
NRD San Antonio’s area of responsibility includes more than 34 Navy Recruiting Stations and Navy Officer Recruiting Stations spread throughout 144,000 square miles of Central and South Texas territory.
