U.S. Green Berets assigned to 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) maneuver toward a named area of interest to execute deep reconnaissance and verify the location of integrated air defense systems during Operation Close Shave as part of exercise Red Flag near Delta Junction, Alaska, June 1, 2026. During Red Flag, SF units conduct discrete operations designed to blend in with the local populace.
