Dr. Marine Meucci-Duly, National Office for Combatants and Victims of War Head of Mission for the Recovery and Management of Combatants’ Remains, briefed about handling remains in France and the legal framework and procedures during the fourth Scientific Summit in Milan, Italy, Sept. 18, 2025. The event was co-hosted by DPAA and the University of Milan, Laboratory of Forensic Anthropology and Odontology. Other presentations included briefings on isotope testing, field recovery operations, and the various partnerships between the DPAA and other countries.
