250905-N-OV429-1013: NEWPORT, RI (September 5, 2025). Hospital Corpsman Third Class Juan Benavides was presented a letter of appreciation by Capt. Rona Green, Commanding Officer, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command New England during an awards presentation, Sept. 5, 2025. This letter was presented for outstanding support of the Naval Academy Preparatory School’s (NAPS) preparation for Academic Year 2026. Benavides played a vital role as part of NAPS medical team providing indoctrination season. His contributions were essential in delivering immediate injury care, preventative and corrective treatment, rehabilitation services, and medical administrative support to 238 Midshipmen and Cadet Candidates.
