Rona Green, Commanding Officer, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command New England during an awards presentation, Sept. 5, 2025. Villanueva was presented with the award for his service as the assistant leading petty officer of the radiology department where he oversaw the completion of more than four thousand radiographs, contributed to two successful mammography quality standard inspections, and one Joint Commission survey. Additionally, he provided assistance in expanding the hospital's imaging capabilities during their transition to an upgraded medical imaging system, with zero delays in services.
