    The USS Carter Hall (LSD 50) color guard practices presenting the colors before a social event aboard the ship in Corfu, Greece, April 1, 2013. This is a scheduled port visit for the ship, which is currently deployed to the 6th Fleet area of operation. The MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force.
