U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Jeff Allen, Pacific Air Forces Headquarters Public Affairs, tries to stay warm and out of the rain in the early hours of the morning before his first Paddling Athletes Association Thanksgiving Food Drive Race in his one-man outrigger canoe, Nov. 17, 2012, in Hawaii Kai, Hawaii. Allen joined paddling coach and friend Tim Awaya with less than a week left on island before a permanent change of station.
