Smith as commodore of Norfolk-based Military Sealift Command Atlantic during a change of command ceremony held aboard USNS Comfort at Naval Station Norfolk, August 27, 2021. US Navy Supply Officer, CDR Kevin Albert (left) and YNC Maria Espinoza presented Smith with a farewell gift from MSCLANT's staff. The gift represents a Command Task Force 83’s (CTF-83) broad pin.
