A quality assurance (QA) specialist with Task Force Barrier visited a portion of the Tucson Sector to do reconnaissance of the existing barrier June 8, 2019. The QA noted the presence of flash flood gates, access gates, harsh conditions, areas where the barrier had been cut and repaired, and steep grades, making some areas difficult to reach. In this photo the QA looks at the difference in placement of a vehicular barrier, which is on the actual International Border, and existing pedestrian barrier.
