A person in a blue shirt walks along a dirt patrol road beside a tall border barrier wall topped with concertina/razor wire. The wall consists of dark brown/rust-colored steel bollards or panels with horizontal pipe reinforcements, extending into the distance. The setting appears to be an arid desert environment, consistent with the southwestern United States border region.

A quality assurance (QA) specialist with Task Force Barrier visited a portion of the Tucson Sector to do reconnaissance of the existing barrier June 8, 2019. The QA noted the presence of flash flood gates, access gates, harsh conditions, areas where the barrier had been cut and repaired, and steep grades, making some areas difficult to reach.
