Two individuals are standing in front of a large steel border barrier topped with concertina/razor wire. One person wears a blue polo shirt and gray pants, while the other wears a high-visibility safety vest and white hard hat, suggesting an inspection or site visit. A quality assurance (QA) specialist with Task Force Barrier visited a portion of the Tucson Sector to do reconnaissance of the existing barrier June 8, 2019. The QA noted the presence of flash flood gates, access gates, harsh conditions, areas where the barrier had been cut and repaired, and steep grades, making some areas difficult to reach.
