Spc. Brian Quinonez, information technology specialist with 224th Signal Company, 224th Sustainment Brigade, and a native of Romoland, Calif., exits the Liberty Theater stage after receiving the California Commendation Medal Oct. 23 at the 2012 Best Warrior Competition award ceremony in the Liberty Theater at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos, Calif. Quinonez had won first place in the weapons course on the enlisted side and for combatives on the enlisted side events held Sept. 11-17 at Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif.
