    170921-N-UK248-022 U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Sept. 21, 2017) Quartermaster 2nd Class Previn Washington (left), a native of Philadelphia, assigned to the navigation/administration department aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), provides enlisted surface warfare qualification training to Quartermaster Seaman Apprentice Luis Graciliano (center), a native of Bakersfield, California, and Seaman Jaizza Escalante, a native of Anaheim, California, in the ship’s bridge. Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
