170807-N-VG727-1259 HONIARA, Guadalcanal (Aug. 7, 2017) Sailors assigned to the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Barry (DDG 52) learn a traditional Solomon Island dance with the Elekwai Cultural Performing Arts Group at the Red Cross Special Development Center for a community relation event during Barry’s port visit to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Guadalcanal Campaign. The 75th commemoration is a tribute to courage, service, and sacrifice of those who fought in the Guadalcanal Campaign of World War II.
