Staff Sgt. Matthew Tucker and Sgt. Thomas Baynes, military engineers with the 10th Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, supervise operations on a project site at Mihail Kogalniceanu air base, Romania, August 5, 2016 during Operation Resolute Castle. Soil removal, concrete removal, berm demolition, and concrete demolition were often conducted simultaneously in order to maintain the demolition schedule. Soldiers with the U.S. Army worked hand-in-hand with military engineers from the Romanian Land Forces to pave the way for multi-million-dollar construction on the air base. (US Army photo by Capt.
