    Four air rifle shooters from McMichael High School in Mayodan, North Carolina compete in the 2016 JROTC National Air Rifle Championship held on March 17-19 in Anniston, Ala. 56 Teams from 73 schools as well as numerous individual shooters representing all four U.S. Armed Forces shot their way through various local and regional competitions in order to qualify for this culminating event. The "Fighting Phoenix" Junior ROTC Program is affiliated with the Air Force.
