Cadet Hannah Oravec from Sarasota Military Academy in Florida, takes aim at a small target 45.5 millimeters in diameter and 10 meters (33 feet) away during the 2016 JROTC National Air Rifle Championship in Anniston, Ala., on March 19. SMA, an Army affiliate, is one of the 73 schools that sent 56 teams as well as numerous individual shooters representing all four U.S. Armed Forces. Teams and individuals shot their way through various local and regional competitions in order to qualify for this culminating event. Next to Oravec is a screen that shows that her previous shot was almost dead center and allows her to see where each shot hits.
