U.S. Army Spc. Jenny Little, an El Paso, Texas, native from Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, greets elementary students a primary school in Gulbene, Latvia, as part of a community outreach that took place Nov. 12, 2014. U.S. and Latvian soldiers interacted with the schoolchildren, explaining what they do in their countries’ militaries and how they train and work together as part of the U.S. Army Europe-led Operation Atlantic Resolve land force assurance training exercise taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
