The color guard posts the colors after a retirement ceremony June 20 at the Surfside on Camp Kinser. The retirement ceremony was held for Sgt. Maj. Tamara L. Fode and her husband Sgt. Maj. Rick L. Fode. They were given certificates of appreciation and awarded the Meritorious Service Medal to recognize their service in the Marine Corps.
