Marines with 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force, render salutes June 20 at the Surfside on Camp Kinser. The formation was part of the post, relief and retirement of Sgt. Maj. Tamara L. Fode and Sgt. Maj. Rick L. Fode. Both sergeants major have been married to each other for 19 years, and each has served in the Marine Corps for more than 20 years. Sgt. Maj. Tamara L. Fode, a Hazelton, North Dakota, native, was the sergeant major of 3rd MLG, III MEF. Sgt. Maj. Rick L. Fode was the sergeant major of Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Futenma.
