    CAMP LIBERTY, IRAQ -- Lt. Gen. John R. Vines, commanding general, Multi-National Corps - Iraq, presents Sgt. Daniel Morris, from Reeding, Calif., of 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry, with the Purple Heart Sept. 28 for injuries suffered during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Morris' squad was attacked by a Vehicle-Born Improvised Explosive Device Sept. 11 when he suffered injuries to his leg.
