CAMP LIBERTY, IRAQ -- Lt. Gen. John R. Vines, commanding general, Multi-National Corps - Iraq, presents Pfc. John Reiners, from Haines City, Fl., of 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry with the Purple Heart for injuries suffered during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Reiners' squad was attacked by a Vehicle-Born Improvised Explosive Device Sept. 11 when he suffered injuries to his left side due to the blast. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. John R. Rozean).
