NEW YORK (April 30, 2023) — The Freedom- variant littoral combat ship USS Cooperstown (LCS 23) arrives in New York in advance of its commissioning ceremony. USS Cooperstown will be the first naval ship named after Cooperstown, New York and honors the 70 Hall of Famers who served the United States during wartime in a range of conflicts spanning the Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the Korean War.

NAVAL STATION MAYPORT, Fla. (March 26, 2025) - The Freedom-variant littoral combat ship USS MINNEAPOLIS-SAINT PAUL (LCS 21), along with the “Valkyries” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 50 Detachment 3 and embarked U.S. Coast Guard Law Enforcement Detachment, departed from Naval Station Mayport March 26, beginning her maiden deployment to support U.S. 4th Fleet area of operations.
