The U.S. Navy and Timor-Leste Defense Forces (F-FDTL), also known as Falintil-Forças de Defesa de Timor-Leste (F-FDTL), concluded CARAT Timor-Leste 2025, Sept. 26, after a weeklong exchange of expertise, training scenarios, and relationship-building activities in Dili.
The U.S. Navy (USN) and Timor-Leste Defense Forces (F-FDTL), also known as Falintil- Forças de Defesa de Timor-Leste (F-FDTL), marked the start of the 14th Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Timor-Leste 2025, with an opening ceremony in Dili, Sept. 22.
The 31st iteration of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Thailand concluded June 16, 2025 in Sattahip, following a series of exercises and exchanges between the U.S. Navy (USN) and the Royal Thai Navy (RTN). The exercise, which began on July 7, 2025, was designed to enhance maritime interoperability, strengthen partnerships, and promote regional security cooperation.
During CARAT Thailand 2025, U.S. Navy and Royal Thai Navy personnel conducted expert exchanges on the Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIX) to enhance secure communication.
